Job summary

Abacus Careers is seeking an experienced Tax Manager (R&D Tax Relief) in Belfast for a hybrid, full-time role. You will lead a portfolio of clients, oversee end-to-end R&D claims, and mentor a team of technical specialists.

You’ll drive compliant processes, engage clients with seminars, handle HMRC enquiries, and contribute to business development in a collaborative environment. The right candidate has proven R&D tax relief experience, strong report writing and client-facing skills, and

Tax Manager (Research & Development Tax Relief)

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented R&D Tax Manager to lead a portfolio of clients and ensure smooth, compliant processing of claims from start to finish. This is a significant role working with a team of technical specialists on niche projects with medium to large sized commercial businesses based across the UK.
