Job summary

Croda offers an Industrial Placement Student role at Cowick Hall, East Yorkshire for 12 months from August 2026, working on research and development in Skin Care Applications. You will screen products, generate data and help integrate products into formulations.

You should have A Level Chemistry and be progressing toward a 2.1 in Chemistry/Cosmetic Science/Biochemistry or related degree; previous chemical-industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

Good laboratory skills and clear report writing ability.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload.
Teamwork, attention to detail and good problem analysis.
A Level in Chemistry and nearing a 2.1 in related degree.

Responsibilities

Design and perform experiments related to personal care formulations.
Collect and review results independently and with a team.
Write technical reports for internal use.
Support new product launches and existing product ranges.
