Job summary

Croda offers an Industrial Placement Student role at Cowick Hall, East Yorkshire for 12 months from August 2026, working on research and development in Skin Care Applications. You will screen products, generate data and help integrate products into formulations.

You should have A Level Chemistry and be progressing toward a 2.1 in Chemistry/Cosmetic Science/Biochemistry or related degree; previous chemical-industry experience is desirable but not essential.

As we deliver our ambitious2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for anIndustrial Placement Student to join our team at Cowick Hall,East Yorkshire for 12 months from August 2026, to work on research anddevelopment projects in our Skin Care Applications group.

You will be responsible for thescreening of our products into a range of different areas of skin care as wellas data generation and incorporating the products into formulations. Theproject work carried out during the placement will be of sufficient academiccomplexity to meet the requirements of a university industrial placement degreecourse.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You should have good laboratory skills and be able to communicate effectively both in reports and verbally.
• You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload.
• Team work, attention to detail and good problem analysis skills are essential for this role.
• You will have an A Level in Chemistry and be working towards a 2.1 in a Chemistry/Cosmetic Science/Biochemistry or related degree.
• Previous work experience within the chemical industry is desirable but not essential
