Huawei Research and Development UK Limited is seeking a Project Manager with strong R&D experience in optoelectronics to lead InP-based chip projects for AI datacenters and long-distance links.

You'll manage multi-disciplinary, international teams, collaborate with academia, define objectives, risks, and budgets, and deliver on time and within scope. Travel may be required to global sites.

Formación

• MSc or higher engineering required in optoelectronic subject.
• Experience managing R&D projects and budgets.
• Good knowledge of optoelectronic device physics.
• Familiar with optoelectronic end-to-end processes.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support project planning with technical teams.
• Define objectives, deliverables and scope with customers.
• Perform risk analysis and mitigation planning.
• Determine resources and secure agreement with managers.
• Create detailed project plans and work packages for execution.
• Execute projects focusing on business requirements and timelines.
• Maintain project records in Huawei PM system.
• Communicate with customers to track demand and adjust as needed.
• Explore academic and industry collaboration opportunities.
• Contribute to medium- and long-term strategy for your project field.
