Job summary
Elsevier is seeking a motivated strategy professional to shape and drive growth across our Corporate R&D solutions. You will partner with senior strategy, product, and commercial leaders to define market opportunities, guide product development, and accelerate growth across a multi-market portfolio.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Chemistry or related field
- MBA/MSc/PhD highly desirable
- Strategy consulting experience (3+ years)
- Experience in R&D-intensive industries
- Proven ability to translate insights into strategic narratives
- Experience with software/data-driven products and AI tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Lead development of product-level strategies for agentic solutions and databases
- Guide product roadmaps aligned with portfolio strategy and market needs
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify threats/opportunities including partnerships and M&A
- Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities
- Lead strategic initiatives such as growth assessments and partnerships
- Communicate recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive execution of priorities
