Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent experience in engineering.
• Interest in research and development or complex engineering systems.
• Strong analytical and practical problem solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory, workshop and office environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of new products and technologies.
• Assist with the build, integration and testing of prototype systems.
• Work on multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through to evaluation.
• Carry out experimental work, testing and technical investigations.
• Analyse results and recommend design improvements.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports and technical drawings where required.
• Support the transition of new products from development into manufacture.
• Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to solve complex engineering challenges.
