Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd, Adlington, Cheshire, is seeking a Control Systems Engineer (R&D) to own projects developing bespoke manufacturing machinery. The role is site-based with 1 day home working per week after probation.

You will develop PLC, HMI, servo motion control and safety software, produce electrical schematics and documentation, and lead projects from concept through commissioning. Travel to UK and international sites may be required.

Qualifications

Manufacturing background with strong electrical knowledge.
Experience with Siemens PLC programming required.
Experience with multi-axis servo motion control and HMI development preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop PLC, HMI, motion control and safety software for bespoke machinery.
Produce electrical schematics and supporting documentation.
Deliver projects from design through testing and commissioning with cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, suppliers and customers to improve control systems.
Carry out fault-finding and upgrades, provide remote technical support.
Investigate and integrate new technologies into machinery designs.
Based in Adlington with UK and international travel as required.
