  • Operate a pilot scale spray dryer, care for equipment, and arrange for repair/replacement if necessary (Samples and Flavour labs).
  • Conduct physical, chemical, and organoleptic testing; making oral and written observations and judgments on process and outcome to provide feedback to the flavorist team.
  • Maintain a safe and professional laboratory environment and a current raw material inventory, as well as flavour retention libraries.
  • Maintain a specific sample library; liaising with production to obtain materials.
  • Participate in formal Sensory panels as well as day to day organoleptic evaluations and screenings of flavors.

What you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or Food Science/Technology is preferred with experience in the flavour or food industry, an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, with written and oral English a must, along with the ability to work within short time-frames and stay focused under pressure.
  • Good ability in general lab techniques.
  • Good general computer skills (MS Office, ERP).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to follow procedures when sampling from production (Raw materials and final product).
  • Problem solving to achieve goals.

What you’ll get:

  • Opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues, onsite 5 days per week.
