Breedon Group is seeking a Quarry Supervisor at Freemans Quarry, Bristol, to support the Quarry Manager in safe and efficient quarry operations. You will assist with production planning, troubleshooting, and coordinating day-to-day activities across site with other departments.

The role emphasises safety leadership, risk assessments, and administrative duties—reporting, records, procurement and budget control—within a team-focused environment at Breedon Group.

Formación

• Experience in quarry or extractive industries.
• Strong safety leadership and risk assessment ability.
• Experience in planning and coordinating day-to-day operations.
• Proficient administrative and reporting skills.

We are currently seeking a Quarry Supervisor to join the team.

The primary duty for this role will be to support the Quarry Manager with the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry.

You will support the management of production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations in conjunction with other departments across site.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety will comprise a key element of the role. You will also be required to conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections and to demonstrate leadership in safety.
• An important element of the role will involve administrative duties, from writing reports and updating records to procurement and budget control.
• An ability to plan and organise work in a time efficient fashion is critical.
• The ideal candidate will have background in the extractive industry, be familiar with the extractive process with a strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills.
