Job summary

Breedon Group plc is seeking a dedicated Quarry Supervisor in the UK to support the Quarry Manager in safe, efficient operation and management of production and extraction activities. You will plan day-to-day activities, troubleshoot technical problems, oversee cross-department coordination on site, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies while maintaining accurate records and budgets.

This role requires strong leadership, risk assessment, and proactive communication with field

We are currently seeking a Quarry Supervisor to join the team.

The primary duty for this role will be to support the Quarry Manager with the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry.

You will support the management of production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations in conjunction with other departments across site.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety will comprise a key element of the role. You will also be required to conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections and to demonstrate leadership in safety.
• An important element of the role will involve administrative duties, from writing reports and updating records to procurement and budget control.
• An ability to plan and organise work in a time efficient fashion is critical.
• The ideal candidate will have background in the extractive industry, be familiar with the extractive process with a strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills.
