Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver at Furzebrook to transport quarry materials safely and efficiently to processing sites and customer locations. You will perform pre‑use inspections, ensure compliance with transport regulations, and maintain high vehicle standards.

Applicants should hold a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and GCSEs in English and Math, with a minimum of one year of HGV experience. The role offers a permanent, full‑time contract with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Math.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 LGV rigid tipper vehicle safely between quarry, processing plant and customer delivery locations.
• Perform pre-use vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Deliver materials to tipping bays and occasionally to dockside/storage at Poole Quay.
• Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours and Tachograph regulations daily.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness at all times.
