Job summary

IonQ in Oxford is seeking a Technical Programme Manager to lead deployment and commissioning of quantum systems at customer sites across Europe and Asia. You will own end-to-end activities from planning and export through installation and handover, coordinating with engineering, legal, mobility, and logistics teams.

The role requires a hardware background and 5+ years running complex deployments, with experience moving equipment across borders, and the ability to align timelines with executives

Qualifications

• Hardware deployment experience leading complex systems across international sites.
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, legal, mobility and logistics teams.
• Strong communication of status to engineers, executives and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of quantum system deployment at customer sites across Europe and Asia.
• Run export, import and customs work with legal and logistics teams.
• Coordinate global mobility for deploying teams (visas, travel, readiness).
• Drive site readiness with facilities, security, networking and stakeholders, and coordinate staffing and vendors.
• Track risk and critical path, and resolve issues across internal teams, vendors and customers.
