Qualifications

• PhD in quantum information, quantum computation, CS, physics, or closely related field.
• Extensive experience implementing quantum algorithms on quantum hardware.
• Strong understanding of quantum circuit design, compilation and optimization.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong publication track record in relevant disciplines.
• Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantum algorithms on state-of-the-art hardware platforms.
• Undertake theoretical and applied research on near-term quantum computing algorithms.
• Contribute to research on error mitigation, circuit optimization, and benchmarking.
• Help to author publications, presentations and patent applications.
• Work in a small international team of staff and affiliated PhD students.
• Contribute to Phasecraft’s growth through research, development and leadership.
