Tilbury Douglas is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of water infrastructure projects in the South West, including water and wastewater sites. Exeter-based role with exposure to civil, mechanical, electrical and ICA scopes within an AMP8 programme.

You will provide commercial management, procurement, cost control, and reporting, while mentoring junior staff and liaising with contracts managers on day-to-day commercial matters.

Qualificações

• Strong understanding of the construction industry and contract forms.
• Proficient in measurement and valuation processes.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide commercial management on low to medium risk/complexity projects; manage monthly CVR updates.
• Coordinate with Senior/Managing QS and reporting; support commercial administration of contracts.
• Undertake subcontract procurement from enquiry to final account; mentor junior staff.
