Job summary
YTL UK is seeking a self-motivated Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial elements of infrastructure projects across the Wessex Water region. You will oversee contracts, tender analysis, and final accounts, coordinating with Project Managers and estimators.
A strong background in NEC contracts and water-related projects is preferred. You'll work across Kingston Seymour, Bath, Bristol and home-based settings, contributing to cost forecasting and value engineering while maintaining high safety
Qualifications
- Experience delivering key infrastructure schemes in construction.
- Experience in the water sector or a similar environment is ideal.
- Degree in quantity surveying or a similar construction qualification.
- Membership of RICS/ICES is desirable but not essential.
- Able to interpret technical/design details and value options.
Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of projects from inception to final accounts.
- Lead tender analysis, interviews and reporting.
- Oversee contract change, risk, and payment applications.
- Monitor design and procurement progress with Project Managers.
- Attend regular financial meetings with senior staff.
- Maintain monthly cost and commercial reports and forecasts.
