Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support a major capital investment programme across the Wessex Water region, including Bristol, Bath, Yeovil, Poole and Taunton. You will be based at sites or office hubs across the region and report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.

You will manage pre- and post-contract requirements on projects up to £30m, handle the contract payment process, cost forecasting, and reporting of changes, opportunities and risks, working closely with

Qualifications

• Requires degree in quantity surveying or similar
• Experience with NEC contracts is preferred
• RICS/ICES membership desirable but not essential
• Experience with change and risk management, tender and final account negotiation
• Good people skills and ability to build professional relationships
• Understanding of health and safety relevant to the role

Responsibilities

• Manage the contract payment process across multiple projects
• Provide accurate cost value forecasting and report changes, opportunities and risks
• Attend regular financial meetings with senior team members
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, Engineers and Estimators
