Job summary

Henley Chase in Essex is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial aspects of construction projects. The role focuses on cost control, contract administration and tendering across tiling or steelworks projects, with a view to delivering on time and within budget.

You will manage subcontracts, valuations and change orders, liaise with clients and suppliers, and identify commercial risks to maximise margins.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Experience in tiling or steelworks is essential.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost management.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and subcontractor management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
