Job summary

Sustainable Talent is recruiting a Civils biased Quantity Surveyor for a 12-month contract based in Stoke within the Renewables and Energy sector. The role requires a strong civils background, NEC contract expertise, and the ability to produce and present commercial reports to the wider business.

The successful candidate will have a quantity surveying degree and knowledge of compensation events, early warnings, and variations.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying field.
• Strong background in civils and related civils works.
• Excellent NEC contract knowledge.
• Experience producing commercial and cost reports and communicating them to the business.

Responsibilities

• Produce and present commercial and cost reports to the wider business.
• Manage Compensation Events, Early Warnings, and Variations.
• Provide cost control and cost trend reporting for renewables projects.

LOCATION: Stoke

DURATION: 12 months+

The right candidate will need to have the following:

• Strong Quantity Surveyor background with good background in civils and related civils works
• Excellent NEC contract knowledge
• Commercial skill set across Compensation Events, Early Warnings, Variations etc
• Able to produce commercial and cost reports, and the ability to communicate these reports to the wider business
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying field
• Knowledge of BESS/Substation works will be beneficial
