Job summary

Future plc in Dunstable is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of social housing, planned maintenance and void contracts from the Dunstable office. You will oversee valuations, subcontractor payments and cost reporting to ensure contracts stay within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in social housing, planned maintenance, voids, refurbishment, or repairs & maintenance is advantageous.
• Commercially minded with strong financial control across contracts.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of planned maintenance and void contracts.
• Preparing valuations and applications for payment.
• Subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.
• Producing cost reports, forecasts and cost-to-complete information.
• Managing variations and ensuring additional works are recovered.
• Monitoring project expenditure, margins and commercial performance.
• Working with Site Managers and Project Managers to deliver contracts.
• Managing client and subcontractor final accounts.
• Supporting monthly commercial reporting and reviews.
