Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for planned works and void refurbishment on a Southampton-based framework. The role focuses on SOR pricing, surveying, scoping and commercial management within a live social housing contract.

The successful candidate will manage valuations, cost control and commercial reporting while liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure delivery on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Quantity Surveying within social housing/planned maintenance/voids.
• Strong knowledge of NHF/SM7 pricing frameworks.
• Experience with measured term contracts and SOR-based commercial management.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a live environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys and assess planned maintenance and void works.
• Prepare scopes of works, specs and cost estimates.
• Measure, price and value works using NHF/SM7 rates.
• Review variations and support cost control across the contract.
• Produce accurate valuations and pricing submissions within deadlines.
• Liaise with client reps, contract managers and operations teams.
