Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for retrofit works, based in Stoke-on-Trent with a hybrid pattern (3 days remote). The role covers end-to-end cost control on refurbishment contracts across the South West region, including solar panels, EWI, ventilation, windows, doors, roofing and related works.
You will liaise with operations teams, manage subcontractor procurement, and ensure information, costs and profitability meet project requirements.

Within our Tenanted Social Housing Retrofit refurbishment works programs, such as Solar panels, EWI, ventilation, Window, Doors, Roofing and planned works you will work both from our office, home and on site, collaborating with your team in an environment that is inclusive and fair for everyone. Working on full end to end life cycle of a project including sub contractor procurement and mobilisation
You will work closely with the Operational teams in South Brent as we expand, covering retrofit contracts across the region. Your role is to obtain and evaluate information to ensure a realistic cost for the supply of works, goods, materials, and services for designated Refurbishment/Retrofit projects. Whilst liaising with Contractors, Suppliers and Clients to ensure information, costs, profitability and value meet the requirements of designated project/contracts..
About You
You will have experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor preferably within planned refurbishments and retrofit in the Social Housing sector, your expertise as a Surveyor will give you the knowledge to hit the ground running and contribute effectively to the team. Attention to detail and great written and verbal communication skills will be essential to your success. And you will be an expert with IT with proficient MS office skills. You also must hold a Full UK Driving Licence as travel is a must with this role. The role will require a DBS check to be completed,
