Job summary

Emtec Energy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team and help deliver energy infrastructure projects from award through to completion.

You will work closely with Project Managers and engineers, providing commercial insight, managing risk and protecting margins to ensure projects stay on budget and on programme. The role covers forecasting, cash flow, subcontractor management and NEC contract administration.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing CVRs, forecasts and project cost reports.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial administration principles.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, valuations and overall commercial performance.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and CVRs.
• Support NEC contract administration, including compensation events and change management.
• Prepare applications for payment and ensure timely invoicing.
• Value and manage variations and.subcontractor payments and orders.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation.
