Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor in Leeds with hybrid working arrangements to deliver fast-paced refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects for high-profile clients in hospitality, leisure, and retail sectors.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, cost estimates, and client communications across multiple projects, ensuring value and timely delivery in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within retail/hospitality/education sectors.
• Experience with JCT, framework agreements, and other construction contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee refurbishment and fit-out projects, ensuring delivery within budget and on time.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure milestones are met.
• Lead client briefing meetings, providing cost analysis, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate and manage the full project lifecycle from tendering through final accounts.
