Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor delivering prestigious high-end residential projects across the South of England. This role offers clear career progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor and beyond while working on landmark schemes with a dedicated commercial team.

Commutable from Yeovil, Shepton Mallet, Gillingham, Wincanton, and surrounding Somerset towns, the position features a competitive salary alongside car allowance

Qualifications

• Experience managing project costs from start to finish.
• Strong commercial awareness and finance management.
• Experience with valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Good technical understanding of construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of construction projects
• Preparing valuations, cost reports and final accounts
• Managing subcontract procurement, payments and accounts
• Pricing and managing project variations
• Monitoring project budgets and commercial performance
• Liaising with clients, architects, subcontractors and site teams
• Supporting commercial reporting and forecasting
• Office based with occasional site visits
