Job summary

Fourblue is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in London. The role focuses on commercial management across mission critical projects, collaborating with Contract Managers and senior QS colleagues to maintain financial control and contractual compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years post-graduation experience, strong commercial acumen, and excellent IT skills, with the ability to work on site in London. A relevant degree is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-graduation experience in a QS or similar role.
• Experience on mission critical projects.
• Relevant degree is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent IT skills (MS Office, spreadsheets, reporting).

Responsibilities

• Work with Contract Managers to assess commercial status of projects.
• Review and understand project contracts.
• Support with commercial reports and cost control.
• Negotiate with contractors; manage variations and subcontractor accounts.
• Oversee monthly progress applications and project costs.
