Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor for a Preston-based role. You will support cost planning, budgeting, and tender documentation across multiple live projects, collaborating with site teams to monitor cost impacts and keep programmes on track.

The successful candidate will have QS qualifications or relevant experience, strong numerical skills, and proficiency in Excel and CostX. Experience with ConQuest is a plus; on-site involvement offers hands-on learning and career

Qualifications

• Relevant QS qualifications – degree or experience
• Previous experience in estimating and take-offs
• Strong numerical and analytical capability with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with CostX, ConQuest, or similar software is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Support cost planning, budgeting, and financial tracking across multiple projects
• Preparing estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
