Job summary

Caralex Recruitment Limited has been asked to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to bolster a commercial department of a well-regarded housebuilder based in Buckinghamshire. The role will involve managing commercial activity across around three housing sites and reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

Key duties include writing reports and preparing contracts, budgets and plans; feasibility studies; cost control, estimation, planning and forecasting; cost-benefit analysis; dispute resolution;

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Writing reports and preparing documents such as contracts, budgets and plans.
• Feasibility studies.
• Cost control, estimation, planning and forecasting.
• Cost benefit analysis.
• Dispute resolution.
• Valuations and value engineering.
• Providing information to Materials Buyers, the Technical & Sales teams etc as necessary.
