Job summary

SER Limited in the Chorley area is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and cost control on groundworks and civils projects on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for commercial management, subcontractor procurement, applications, valuations, variations and final accounts, working closely with site teams and senior management to deliver value and growth for the business.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' Quantity Surveying experience (preferred).
• Strong groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure background.
• Experience with subcontractors and commercial negotiation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of multiple groundworks/civils projects.
• Subcontractor procurement and management.
• Applications, valuations and variations; cost reporting and forecasting.
• Final accounts and CVRs; managing project budgets and commercial performance.
