Job summary

Bimplus in Cambridgeshire is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial aspects on drywall and interior fit-out projects across East Anglia, London and Greater London. You will manage valuations, cost control and final accounts, while developing profitable outcomes.

The role requires strong negotiation, contractual knowledge, and the ability to handle multiple projects from pre-construction through final delivery, building solid relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in drywall/interiors.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction to final account.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and financial management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant construction qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple drywall and interior commercial projects.
• Prepare and submit accurate valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Procure subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiation of terms and pricing.
• Assess and manage variations, change orders, and contractual claims.
• Produce monthly cost reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Support project delivery teams with commercial and contractual advice.
