Job summary

Ipsum is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Commercial team in Haydock/Warrington. You will take ownership of the commercial delivery of assigned projects and workstreams, ensuring robust pricing, accurate forecasting, cashflow management and strong governance throughout the project lifecycle.

This role focuses on maximizing margin, managing risk, and supporting operational teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial environment.
• Knowledge of NEC, JCT and/or FIDIC contracts.
• Experience managing CVRs, WIP, forecasting, cashflow and change control.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery for assigned projects and workstreams.
• Lead tender pricing, cashflow forecasting and commercial reviews.
• Support contract reviews and identify commercial risks.
• Administer change control processes including variations and compensation events.
• Prepare commercial inputs into management accounts and reforecasting cycles.
• Manage WIP, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Support subcontractor procurement and final account settlements.
• Act as primary commercial contact for allocated projects and workstreams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice in the commercial function.
