Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Manage subcontractor and supplier payments and resolve any payment disputes.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance with contract specifications.
Identify and manage project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Skills
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in using industry-specific software and tools
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Education
