Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier payments and resolve any payment disputes.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance with contract specifications.
  • Identify and manage project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by providing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projects
  • Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier payments and resolve any payment disputes
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to project managers and clients
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance with contract specifications
  • Identify and manage project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Provide guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors and other team members
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
