Job Description:

Calibre Search is looking for an Intermediate to Qualified Level Quantity Surveyor to join a growing QS team in Manchester City Centre.

You will work closely with the Director of Cost Management and the Associate, supporting high-profile NHS Trust Healthcare schemes, Residential, and Education projects across the North of England.

Ideal candidates will have a few years of post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment, with skills in cost reports, cost forecasts, and employer's agent work.

This role offers full support with APC and the opportunity to work with experienced QS professionals to enhance your industry knowledge and career.

Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for client-facing roles
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or a similar degree, with relevant consultancy experience
  • Leadership skills to chair meetings and lead project teams, including conflict management
  • Exceptional planning, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take responsibility
  • Experience in managing pre & post contract services, including cost variances, change control, valuations, cost checks, reports, and final accounts
