Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Quantity Surveyor Construction to manage commercial and financial aspects of multiple large-scale projects in Northern Ireland. You will prepare cost estimates, valuations, variations, and final accounts, while supporting procurement and contract administration.

The ideal candidate has Quantity Surveyor experience in construction, IT literacy, and excellent communication and numerical skills.

Qualifications

• Must have Quantity Surveyor experience within the construction industry.
• Experience in large scale commercial projects preferred.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained.
• Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.
• Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration.
• Carry out regular site visits, monitor project progress, and identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The role of the Quantity Surveyor Construction will involve:

• Quantity Surveyor positions dealing with a wide range of large scale commercial and residential projects

Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained.

Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.

Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration.

Carry out regular site visits, monitor project progress, and identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.

Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor Construction experience with:
