Arise Recruit Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager for a bustling construction consultancy in the Brighton area. The successful candidate will manage hospitality sector projects from £250k to £5m, handling cost control, procurement advice and client liaison.

Experience in consultancy or client-side roles is preferred, with strong contract knowledge and the ability to oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, QS or related construction field is desirable.
• Experience in either a consultancy or client side organisation is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to attend project meetings across the South East and overnight stays if required.
• Strong pre and post contract knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

A Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager is required for successful and growing construction consultancy in Brighton. Suitable applicants will come from a construction consultancy or client side organisation, but consideration will be given to main contractor candidates with relevant past experience.

Arise Recruit is working with a construction consultancy that specialises in quantity surveying, project management and related services primarily for the commercial and hospitality sectors - hotels, bars, restaurants and retail. They are an established business who are growing, increasing 50% in the last 2 years. They are known for their experienced professional team, personal service, and track record in guiding clients through complex development and refurbishment projects. They work with some of the most high profile clients within the sector, and have a great track record of repeat business, delivering projects up to £10M in value.

The successful candidate will be working on hospitality projects ranging from £250k - £5m

Role Responsibilities

• Running projects from concept to completion.
• Pre and post contract management, cost control and reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying or related construction field (Desirable).
• Ideally considerable experience for either a consultancy or client side organisation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• The willingness to attend project meetings throughout the South East, and if required stay overnight.
• Strong Pre and Post Contract knowledge.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality projects.
