Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Worcester office. The role covers pre and post-contract QS duties on a diverse range of construction projects, with a focus on cost planning, procurement and value delivery.

You will work under Chartered Surveyors, develop your career with APC/MRICS support, and enjoy a structured progression path, a modern office, and a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days holiday and a company laptop and phone.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Experience delivering projects from pre-contract through to final account.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based within commuting distance of Worcester.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a diverse range of construction projects.
• Prepare feasibility estimates, cost plans and project budgets.
• Produce tender documentation and manage procurement processes.
• Evaluate tenders and prepare tender reports.
• Undertake contract administration duties under a range of standard forms of contract.
• Prepare interim valuations, cost reports and financial forecasts.
• Monitor project costs and provide commercial advice throughout project delivery.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Attend client, consultant and site meetings.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships whilst supporting successful project delivery.

Our client is an established, independent Construction Consultancy with over 60 years of experience delivering Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Building Surveying services across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Worcester office.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be involved in both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying, working closely with experienced Chartered Surveyors throughout the full project lifecycle. • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or contractor environment
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related Construction discipline
