Job summary

Prime Line Facades is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our Victoria-based team. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, developing detailed cost plans, and managing progress payments across facade and cladding projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in quantity surveying and a track record with construction budgets, tenders, and cost control. This full-time on-site position is based in Victoria.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Experience in facade and cladding projects preferred
• Based in Victoria or willing to work on-site in Victoria

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates from drawings and specifications
• Develop cost plans and bills of quantities for budget control
• Manage progress payments and monitor expenditure against budgets
• Prepare tender documentation and assist with tender analysis and contractor evaluations
• Evaluate tenders and recommend contractor selections
• Track drawing and specification changes and assess cost implications
• Conduct site inspections to verify quantities and works
• Liaise with asset owners, financiers, architects, builders, engineers and developers

Quantity Surveyor – Full-Time | Victoria

Prime Line Facades is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with at least 3 years of work experience to join our growing team, based in Victoria. This is a great opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of facade and cladding projects with a well-established commercial contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural and engineering drawings
• Develop detailed cost plans for budgetary control, including bills of quantities, and manage progress payments
• Monitor projects throughout the construction phase, adjusting costs to reflect variations
• Prepare tender documentation and assist with tender analysis, contractor evaluation, and subcontractor/supplier quotations
• Evaluate tenders and provide recommendations on contractor and subcontractor selection
• Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and cost plans
• Track changes to drawings, specifications, and scope, and assess their cost implications
• Conduct site inspections to verify completed works and quantities
• Liaise with key stakeholders including asset owners, financiers, architects, builders, engineers, and developers
