Job summary

CaSE is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery across major infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the United Kingdom. This role is suited to a commercially minded QS with experience in infrastructure, highways, rail, energy, utilities or major civil projects.

You will support cost management, change management, subcontract administration, reporting and contract management across live project environments.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience working on infrastructure, railways, highways, energy, utilities or civil projects.
  • Understanding of NEC contracts preferred.
  • Strong cost reporting, forecasting and commercial administration skills.
  • Experience with subcontractor management and payment processes.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with delivery teams.
  • Practical, organised and commercially aware.

Responsibilities

  • Support commercial management across assigned project packages.
  • Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts and financial records.
  • Assist with monthly valuations, applications for payment and progress reporting.
  • Manage subcontractor administration, including accounts, variations and payment processes.
  • Support change management, compensation events and variation assessments.
  • Assist with procurement, subcontract enquiries and tender comparisons.
  • Maintain commercial records and project correspondence.
  • Support risk and opportunity tracking across assigned packages.
  • Work closely with project delivery teams to understand progress, cost and commercial exposure.
  • Support NEC contract administration where required.

Job description

CaSE is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery across major infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the United Kingdom.

This role is suited to a commercially minded QS with experience in infrastructure, highways, rail, energy, utilities or major civil projects. You will support cost management, change management, subcontract administration, reporting and contract management across live project environments.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good contract knowledge and the ability to work closely with project managers, commercial leads and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support commercial management across assigned project packages.
