Job summary

Vento Group Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Birmingham team, focusing on estimating and cost management for social housing refurbishment projects. You’ll review quotations, manage project costs and support commercial decisions to ensure projects stay within budget.

Experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimating is essential, with strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.

Quantity Surveyor - Birmingham

If you enjoy estimating, pricing work and making commercial decisions, you'll feel right at home in this role. You'll be joining a growing organisation delivering residential home adaptation projects, where your commercial expertise will help improve people's quality of life every day.

Initially, the role will have a strong emphasis on estimating and quotation preparation. You'll review contractor quotations, manage project costs and ensure works are commercially viable before supporting projects through to completion. It's a varied role where you'll work closely with contractors, local authorities and internal project teams, managing multiple live projects at any one time.
