Job summary

Foster & May in Norwich, East Anglia, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team and help deliver projects across the region. You will work alongside an Associate Surveyor and Partner on infrastructure, commercial, and private education schemes.

Day to day you'll handle from inception to completion, including estimating, procurement, site delivery and final accounts, with early exposure to pre and post-contract work and a client-facing role as you progress toward MRICS.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience in PQS/Consultancy environment.
• Pre and post contract exposure.
• Client facing.
• Aiming to become MRICS.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects across infrastructure, commercial and private education.
• Involvement from inception to completion including estimating, procurement, site delivery and final accounts.

The Partner of a leading construction consultancy in the Southeast is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in their Norwich office and to help deliver projects across East Anglia.

The Quantity Surveyor's role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will work alongside an Associate Quantity Surveyor and Partner on an array of projects including infrastructure, commercial and private education.

Day to day, the new Quantity Surveyor will work on projects from inception to completion including estimating, procurement, site delivery, and concluding the final accounts.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree
• Minimum of 2-year Quantity Surveying experience
• Worked within a PQS / Consultancy environment
• Pre and post contract exposure
• Client facing
• Keen to become MRICS
