Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs for building and civil engineering projects, from initial costing to final accounts. The role involves tender analysis, risk management, and procurement strategy development.

You will allocate work to subcontractors, monitor payments, and provide guidance on contractual claims while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in costs, procurement, and contract law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse costing for tenders and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
• Perform risk, value management, and cost control during the project lifecycle.
