Job summary

CDM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a civils contractor delivering projects across the North East. Based in the North East, the role focuses on commercial management from tender to final accounts, with a strong client and subcontractor interface.

The ideal candidate will have proven civils/groundworks QS experience, strong contract knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects and procurement activities on site. A relevant QS qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering/groundworks.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract understanding.
• Experience managing subcontractors and client accounts.
• Good knowledge of costs, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.
• Civils and groundworks experience is essential.

Quantity Surveyor - Civils

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established civils contractor delivering a range of projects across the North East.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused QS with a strong background in civil engineering and groundworks to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work.

The Role

• Managing the commercial aspects of civils projects from tender through to final account
