We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established regional main contractor based in Southampton. The business operates out of several regional offices and turns over in excess of £200mil undertaking projects across the commercial, education, healthcare and student accommodation sectors valuing up to £25mil.

As a result of continued regional growth, they're looking to expand the team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing your own project from pre-construction through to completion valuing up to £10mil.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor
  • Be involved in 2nd stage tender process
  • Manage sub-contract procurement
  • Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
  • Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
  • Deal with final accounts
Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position
  • Have a HNC / construction related degree
  • Have administered JCT forms of contract
  • Must have the full right to work in the UK
  • Must live within commutable distance to Southampton
