Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its regional team in Verwood. You will work on projects valued between £1m and £15m across education, healthcare, commercial and local authority sectors.

The role offers a salary up to £80k with a £5k car allowance, flexible working and an extensive benefits package as the business continues to win new projects. You must have a construction-related degree, JCT contract experience, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience administering JCT contracts.
• Strong procurement and subcontract management.
• Ability to manage valuations and final accounts.
• Excellent client communication and coordination on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract procurement and manage subcontractors' accounts on site.
• Prepare and submit monthly valuations and liaise with the client.
• Manage final accounts and resolve contractual issues.
• Contribute to project delivery across education, healthcare, commercial sectors.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a regional main contractor based in Verwood. The business undertakes projects across education, healthcare, commercial and local authority sectors. As a result of some recent project wins, they're now looking to expand their team with an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a project valued between £1m - £15m.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage subcontract procurement
• Manage subcontractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:

• Have a HNC / construction related degree
• Have administered JCT form of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Verwood
