Job summary

Unify is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its major infrastructure team on Sizewell C. The role focuses on NEC contracts, cost control, CVR reporting and subcontractor procurement on a multi-billion pound project.

This permanent position offers stability, progression and exposure to long-term delivery on critical utilities infrastructure within a high-profile site.£50k-£60k base, company vehicle or £7k car allowance, 22 days annual leave + bank holidays, 8% pension, health cash plan and life

Qualifications

• NEC contracts experience (NEC3/NEC4) is essential.
• Background in water, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with programmes governed by Primavera P6.
• Strong commercial reporting, CVR production, change management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial delivery across Sizewell C work packages, including three wastewater treatment plant design & build schemes.
• Administer NEC contracts including change control, compensation events and risk management.
• Produce accurate CVRs, forecasts, cost reports and cashflow.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, valuations and final accounts.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure cost alignment and value protection.
• Maintain strong client and supply chain relationships.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and internal governance.
• Assist the Commercial Manager with strategic commercial decision‑making.

The Opportunity

A leading national civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team delivering long-term works on Sizewell C, including the design and build of three wastewater treatment plants forming part of the site’s essential utilities network. This is a permanent role offering stability, progression and the chance to work on a multi-billion-pound project with decades of future delivery.

Key Requirements

• NEC contract experience is essential (NEC3 or NEC4)


• Background in water, utilities or infrastructure projects


• Experience working with or managing programmes governed by Primavera P6


• Strong commercial reporting, CVR production, change management and cost control


• Confident managing subcontract procurement, payments and variations


• SC clearance is ideal, but not essential - the contractor can sponsor this
