Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for the commercial management of structural steel projects. You will work with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to maximise value and ensure successful delivery across the UK.

The role requires at least five years' QS experience, strong negotiation skills and a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to site locations. A background in structural steel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' Quantity Surveying experience within construction.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• RICS membership or working towards accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple structural steel projects.
• Administer subcontractor accounts, contracts and commercial agreements.
• Prepare and negotiate variations, valuations, claims and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide commercial advice to project teams while building strong client and subcontractor relationships.
• Attend project sites across the UK to support successful project delivery.

The Role

What We're Looking For
