Job summary

RGB Recruitment in Plymouth is seeking a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction team. You will drive budgeting, procurement, cost management, and reporting across Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Retail and Industrial projects.

You will build strong relationships with the supply chain, liaise with clients and site teams, and oversee contractual matters while contributing to sustainability and value engineering initiatives on diverse projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (degree or equivalent).
• Membership or working towards RICS (or similar).
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and construction legislation.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical reporting skills.
• Understanding of sustainable procurement and social value frameworks.
• Familiarity with ISO-certified management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

This role plays a pivotal part in the commercial success of each project, from procurement and budgeting to reporting and stakeholder engagement. Projects include, Education, Healthcare Services, Commercial, Retail, and Industrial Sectors.
