Job summary

MK Consult is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering social housing refurbishment, planned maintenance, retrofit and decarbonisation projects. We welcome candidates from Graduate QS to Project QS levels with relevant sector experience.

You will manage the commercial elements of contracts, prepare valuations, monitor costs, and procurement, and support project delivery teams to achieve commercial targets.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-graduate Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Experience working on social housing refurbishment, planned maintenance, retrofit, decarbonisation or regeneration projects.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ambition to develop within a growing organisation.

Quantity Surveyor.

Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering social housing refurbishment, planned maintenance, retrofit and decarbonisation projects.

They are open to candidates ranging from Graduate Quantity Surveyor level through to Project Quantity Surveyor level, provided they have experience within the social housing refurbishment sector.

Key Responsibilities
