Job summary

Foster & May Limited in Northampton is seeking a Quantity Surveyor responsible for budgeting, cost planning and preparing bills of quantities. You will liaise with partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget across leisure, residential and healthcare sectors.

The role requires a Quantity Surveying degree (or RICS accreditation), MRICS, and at least three years PQS consultancy experience, plus a valid car and driver's license.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or RICS accreditation.
• MRICS professional qualification.
• PQS consultancy experience (minimum 3 years).
• Pre- and post-contract experience relevant to the role.
• Valid car and driver's license.

The Quantity Surveyor's role

The Quantity Surveyor will be heavily involved in projects from inception to completion carrying out duties such as; budgeting, cost planning, preparing bills of quantities, liaising with partners to ensure that the projects are completed on time and in budget.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be working on a diverse range of project sectors including, leisure, residential and healthcare.
