Job summary

Blayze Group in Manchester is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Cost Management team on flagship hotel, refurbishment, and residential projects. You will contribute to feasibility studies, pre-contract estimates, and post-contract cost consultancy to add value for clients.

You will work with senior leaders to develop your APC, take ownership on projects, and deliver robust cost management across the full development lifecycle from feasibility through to post-contract stages.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or learnt by experience.
• Numerically accurate in all work undertaken.
• Efficient in preparation of feasibility and pre-contract estimates.
• Confident client-facing consultancy across pre-contract to post-contract stages.

An established multi-disciplinary consultancy that have an excellent reputation for delivering real estate services across the Private and Public sector is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support their growing Cost Management team across key projects to deliver a new build hotel and refurbishment scheme , as well as key residential living projects.

With a distinguished reputation and robust business pipeline that is varied across national frameworks and private clients they provide real estate services across various sectors including Residential, Commercial, Education, Hotel & Leisure. For a Quantity Surveyor, you will have an opportunity to develop your career and have autonomy to lead on projects. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with the ability and ideally experience

of supporting a project from pre contract and post contract stages providing on all aspects of quantity surveying/cost management. Sector specific experience is not essential but experience in residential housing, commercial, education schools, Hotel and Leisure, would be of interest.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with credentials that include BSc in Quantity Surveying or ‘learnt by experience’ and numerically accurate in all work undertaken. Efficient in the preparation of feasibility and pre-contract estimates and demonstrating confident client facing consultancy skills in providing pre-contract through to post contract advice across all projects. There is a great platform to provide further career development and support through APC if needed.
